Guadeloupe Islands, sustainable territories, Pilot Territory
2021 PRO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT meetings
September 21 & 22, 2021 at the CWTC in Jarry
Confronted to the obvious environmental and social challenges, organizing "Les Rencontres Pro du Développement Durable" first imposed itself on us, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Islands of Guadeloupe, together with our partners, the Regional Council and ADEME, as a collective duty to instill in our companies this paramount duty to change the paradigm to produce, sell and serve differently.
Therefore, in a logic of awareness, our previous editions have popularized the main principles of Sustainable Development, highlighted local issues and feedback.
Since then, our territories and companies in Guadeloupe have outlined the course to follow: that of sobriety and solidarity. Today, Guadeloupe, "sustainable territories, Pilot Territory" can boast of having many references in its territories...
For this 3rd edition, we are climbing a new step: that of the concrete integration of Sustainable Development into the company's strategy and of transformative collective action for a better collective future. It is now a question of owning our Sustainable Economic Development, of controlling it and managing it ourselves.
Make way for solutions, the ability to turn vision into action, the ability to inspire and mobilize a community, the corporate world, and to gain the support of as many people as possible. It is in this sense that we have integrated the event “Forum of Sustainable transitions” with its co-organizers: ADEME, Committee 21, Convergence, DEAL, l'Effet papillon, the Regional Council of Guadeloupe, the CCI IG.
Online and face-to-face, we look forward to seeing you on September 21 & 22, 2021 to discover solutions through Master Classes, Workshops, B2B meetings on our Caribbean horizons as well as an online village of local businesses. These are all tools that will give you a chance u to boost your visibility and create business opportunities in a spirit of sustainable development.

Presentation of trophies and endowment
On the occasion of the Pro Sustainable Development Meetings, which take place on September 21 and 22, 2021, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Islands of Guadeloupe, in collaboration with ADEME and the support of the Guadeloupe Regional Council, is organizing the 3rd edition of the Eco-Innovative Trophies!
Organized every year since 2018, they have already made it possible to reward 8 eco-innovative projects at the regional level.
The Eco-Innovative Trophies reward companies:
- Who have developed a product, service or technology that has less impact on the environment for the same purpose of use
- Who are moving towards a new economic model that can be reconciled with sustainable development, more cooperative, more focused on the offer of services and not on volumes.
L’The objective is to promote eco-design projects as well as trajectories towards the functional and cooperative economy. Through innovation and exemplarity, Guadeloupe companies demonstrate to us the feasibility of this type of approach while proving the benefits and making it possible to promote the engagement of companies in these dynamics.
In order to include several aspects of sustainable development, the competition is organized around three themes: :
- Eco Innovative Product / Service Trophy: this category rewards a regional company that has marketed an innovative product and / or service for which environmental criteria have been incorporated into the design phases, across its entire value chain.
- Innovative Technology Trophy: rewards a regional company that has developed a process / solution intended to reduce or limit an environmental impact (at least a pilot installation).
- Social and Solidarity Economy Trophy: rewards social innovation in the area and aims to support socially innovative projects that carry meaning and values.
The initiatives must present fundamental ethical principles which constitute the pillars and stepping stones for a social and solidarity-based economy: the taking into account of social, environmental and territorial concerns in their activities and in their interactions with their stakeholders on a voluntary basis.
The competition is open to companies registered with the RCS and to associations that provide Sustainable Development solutions in their activity, as well as to project leaders in the development phase of products or services.
Entering this competition can be an opportunity for you, an entrepreneur, to affirm your company's daily commitment to environmental protection.
As a result, official recognition of the winners' approach will be obtained through a large communication campaign:
- A publication for the winners of the Trophies in a magazine
- A mini report by winner to present your structure, broadcast on web tv and social networks
- A trophy ceremony in the presence of the press at the WTC.
- An official announcement on CCI IG social networks
We invite you to participate in the "Eco-Innovative Trophies 2021" competition by applying online using the following form until August 27, 2021 inclusive..
